Tool 7 of 7 · Chapter 7

Learning Strategy Selector

Match method to objective instead of to habit, and leave with a practice plan that simulates the real performance context.

Free · no account Runs in your browser · about 6 minutes per objective
Practice has to resemble the performance — not the topic.

The conditions the objective names are the conditions the practice has to reproduce. Sorting printed cards calmly in a group does not practise prioritising calls at peak volume; it practises a version of the task with the hard part taken out. The meter on each card scores how close your practice actually sits to the real thing, and it is read against what the verb demands.

Bring in your objectives

Pull them from tool 3, paste them one per line, or add a blank card.

Your practice design plan

Bring in your objectives and choose how each will be practised. The plan assembles here, ready to paste into a design document.

Nothing here leaves your browser. This tool has no server and no account. Your plan stays on this device, and closing the tab discards it unless you copy or print first.

That is all seven

Analysis diagnosed, objectives written and calibrated, evidence decided, architecture ordered, and practice designed. What remains is Implementation and Evaluation — which the book treats as the transfer system, not the delivery date.
